Maoist chief expresses gratitude

Imphal, March 18: Chairman of Maoist Communist Party Manipur, Yaibee Meitei has expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their trust and support to the 'new democratic revolution' of the outfit.

In a statement, the chairman said that the cooperation they are getting from the people of the state is due to the ideology and working style of the outfit which is based on Marxism, Leninism and mainly on Maoism.

The chairman said that the Central Committee Members of the outfit would sacrifice their lives to retain the trust of the people. He thanked the cooperation and advices of the senior citizens of the state in the process of cleaning uncouth behaviour of colonialism from the society and stated that the overwhelming support from all directions is a clear indication of successful revolutionary movement of Maoist.

Maoist has successfully instituted five Units in Imphal West, three Units in Thoubal, two units in Imphal East, two units in Bishnupur and four other units under Hill District Committee in the recent times. All the district committees are being closely monitored and advised by the Regional Bureau Member Committee in order to keep its path clean and straight. Besides, Maoist is preparing many youths to institute its armed wings in near future in order to make the party a fully functional group, the chairman disclosed.

The chairman further asserted that those arrested by security forces as Maoist cadres are not cadres of the party. They are reactionaries who carry out extortion activities using the name of Maoist with the sole purpose of misleading the party. Warning such persons, the chairman said that that Maoist would award capital punishment against those who play spoilsport in the activities of the party.

The chairman alleged that the security forces are trying to mislead the people and demoralise the cadres of the party.  The chairman expressed appreciation over the judgement of the people against the CPI Ministers and MLAs who supported the Congress government for some mere benefits and said denounced that the leaders of CPI in the state are not communist by nature but opportunist who compromise the ideology of Communism for their own personal interest.

The chairman also appealed to the guardians of the school students of the state not to worry about the education of their children as Maoist would not interfere in their education once the school authorities give their word to stop charging unreasonable high amounts from the students.
