India - release Saibaba! info but it is not confermed that the appeal for Saibaba is for 29th september, the date is not already fixed

Appeals Hearing For Jailed Professor G N Saibaba And Co-Defendants Postponed Until September 29th

Nagpur: Following inability of top criminal lawyer Ram Jethmalani and senior counsel Nitya Ramakrishnan to appear, the Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing of criminal appeals filed by Delhi University professor G N Saibaba and others.
The petitioners who also included Vijay and Mahesh Tirki, Hem Mishra, and Pandu Narote challenged Gadchiroli sessions court verdict convicting them on March 7. Vijay was awarded ten years of rigorous imprisonment considering his limited role, others were sentenced to life. A division bench of Justices Vasanti Naik and Murlidhar Giratkar adjourned the hearing till September 29 after the accused sought time to take Jethmalani’s and Ramakrishnan’s dates, according to special public prosecutor Prashant Sathianathan.
On April 5, the division bench of Justices Bhushan Dharmadhikari and Vinay Deshpande had admitted both the appeals for final hearing.
All six accused were convicted under Sections 13, 18, 20, 38 and 39 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) along with Section 120B of IPC for criminal conspiracy for aiding and abetting Naxalite activities and waging war against nation. While pronouncing the verdict, Gadchiroli principal district and sessions judge Suryakant Shinde also named dreaded Naxalite Narmada Akka and Ramdar as other accused in the crime and directed the police to trace them. The court examined 23 witnesses that included panch witness and one approver.
The Gadchiroli police based their evidence on a memory chip recovered from Mishra after his arrest from Ballarshah Railway Station on August 22, 2013, with Mahesh and Narote. Data recovered from the hard disk of computer belonging to Saibaba after his arrest proved their role in the Naxalite activities. Rahi and Vijay were arrested on September 2, 2013, while Saibaba was arrested on May 9, 2014, from his home in Delhi.

No me digas.

Charlotteville - Salute to all Fallen Comrades Queen City Maoist Collective

Salute to all Fallen Comrades

On August 12, 2017, a fascist pig rammed his car into a group of antifascists who were taking the streets. Reports are that 19 people have been injured and one person has been confirmed dead.
“Though death befalls all [people] alike, it may be weightier than Mount Tai or lighter than a feather.” To die for the people is weightier than Mount Tai, but to work for the fascists and die for the exploiters and oppressors is lighter than a feather.”
-Mao Tse-tung, 1944
We do not yet know who died in the attack. But based on the fact that they were protesting fascists, one thing is clear: that person died a hero. From Charlotte, we salute their memory and their service to the people.
Today’s ‘unite the right’ rally marks the third fascist gathering in Charlottesville, VA in a matter of months. Where fascists are safe, they will escalate. Their presence alone is an escalation against the masses, especially Black and Brown people.
When fascist attacks are carried out, it can intimidate less active people away from protesting fascists. In fact, they want it to do that. These attacks act as a means of social control, because fascists want their power to grow. We must cast away illusions that today’s incident is an outlier and build sustainable power against fascists. We must also cast away any illusions that the police will ever protect the people from their fascist brothers. The capitalist state has materially encouraged fascist presence time after time not only in Charlottesville, VA but all over the US. The police stand with the fascists at their rallies. Their interests are similarly aligned.
This is not the first time a comrade has been murdered protesting white supremacy in the last year. In Charlotte there was another martyr who died serving the people, Justin Carr. He was murdered by the pigs while protesting the police execution of Keith Lamont Scott in September 2016. CMPD has framed another protestor for his murder. We must honor the life of the fallen comrade in Charlottesville and Justin Carr by fighting like hell to destroy the system that enables fascism to live. The system is capitalism-imperialism. Both the police in Charlotte and the fascists in Charlottesville murdered someone to try to send a message to the masses and consolidate their own power.
The cohesive strategy to fight fascism is threefold:
1.) Create a preventative force that can effectively get the prime recruiting ground of fascists to turn their backs on all fascists. This includes the white working class, petit-bourgeois white amerikans, and anyone that can be recruited by fascists in the US.
2.) Become militarized to combat their violence and protect our class.
3.) Build a strong revolutionary mass movement, led by an MLM party with proletarian politics in command. Fight for socialist revolution, and establish a dictatorship of the proletariat to deprive all power from these pigs.
These moments cannot become common. Our job is to protect and defend the masses while laying the ground for a revolutionary people to rise up and make history. We must draw the line in the sand. What happened today shows us that fascists will not stop, and neither can we.

Charlotteville - A Report Back from the Streets of TampaMaoist Collective

The fascist’s cowardly terrorist attack in Charlottesville has not and will not go unanswered. Our antifascist martyr – Heather Heyer – is immortal! She lives on in the battle against fascism, a battle we will wage to its end. This city will be made a tomb for fascism.
As soon as the news of the attack reached us from one of our comrades on the ground in Cville, the people hit the streets. Overnight anti fascist messages rose all over the city. One such antifa target was the infamous confederate monument that holds the worlds largest confederate flag as it flies over our highways. Revolutionaries defaced the monument with hammers & sickles, antifascist slogans, and red paint.  Other neighborhoods were marked as antifa territory, warning fascists to get the fuck out of our city.
Confed
The next day – TMC, the mass organization Suncoast Antifa, and other revolutionaries in our united front made rapid plans to take over the streets. A liberal vigil event had been planned downtown, lacking any focus on our martyr or the political content of her death. Breaking up into cells, we assumed leadership of the event, gave speeches, and shut the streets down as we led hundreds of people on a march across the city to another confederate monument located at the old courthouse. Fascists, including members of American Vanguard (the group responsible for the terror attack in Cville), attempted to follow our march and film some of our comrades. If not for the presence of pigs, this group of cowards would have been ripped apart by the people. Even with their protection present and surrounding our forces on all sides, comrades managed to beat several of the fascist’s phones out of their hands and break them to stop their filming. Chants of “Cops and Klan go hand in hand,” and “1-2-3-4 this is fucking class war, 5-6-7-8 organize and smash the state” filled downtown Tampa. A candle holding event had been turned into an antifascist march.
tmc
At various points the bloc outmaneuvered the pigs, forming into wedges to break attempted encirclement, and laying themselves in front of pig cars to stop them from entering our route. Street occupations where the bloc stopped to hold key roads occurred throughout the march, allowing everyone involved to keep pace with the march as water was passed out, and speeches were given on the occupied intersections. As the bloc came within sight of the confederate monument, we ran ahead of the pigs to occupy the territory and cover the monument in our flags and posters. At the occupation the people voiced their outrage at fascist terror and white supremacy. Backwards ideas were struggled against, those carrying american flags and decrying our calls of “fuck the police” were greeted with the anger of our nonwhite comrades as they explained the need for revolution.  Speakers explained to the crowd that this is only the beginning, our struggle against fascism will continue to grow so long as the people support us. We consider this action a small victory and an important step forward.
With our victory, fascist trolls have taken notice of our actions and have launched a pathetic intimidation campaign against us. A swastika has been drawn outside the house of one of our supporters, other supporters have received phone calls describing acts of fascist violence – including glorifying the death of Heather Heyer. Pigs and private security have stationed 24/7 guards on the monument, trying to stop any further action by us. Liberals have also raised 140k for the statue to be respectably and peacefully removed to private property. The neighboring city of St. Pete has preemptively removed its own confederate monument, attempting to avoid a similar incident in its streets. These actions will not be enough to stop the people of Tampa. The struggle will carry on and intensify, fascists and anti-fascists are mutually exclusive opposites and cannot coexist peacefully in this city.

Antifascists in Tampa first announced themselves during pride month, leading an insurgent anti-capitalist bloc through the pride march to the cheers of working class queers in the crowd. Since then we have grown quickly in strength and unity, taking various smaller actions. Before the arrival of TMC and Suncoast Antifa, such actions were completely unthinkable in this area. We are progressing, but much work remains to be done. Our collective is working diligently towards concentric construction – building the basic forms of the party, army, and united front in our work. We have created rules of fitness, diet, and weapons training for all members of our collective. We will become a combat organization of the working class, we firmly reject the revisionist model of “book club communism.” We reject the revisionist denial of the necessity of anti-fascist work. We reject the revisionist model of an “activist” organization. Maoist organizations are partisan war machines created for the destruction of the state and creation of red power. We uphold that the mass line can be applied in anti-fascist work, and we are proving this in practice. Fake communists refuse antifa work, they rub their noses at the people’s struggles and speak of the “mass line” and the “workers” (what they really mean is an idealized version of the old white working class). They see “ultra-leftism” in every militant action. These people are nothing but academics with an activist hobby, they are not communists.

The fascists exposed themselves at Charlottsville, they can no longer hide in the shadows or play innocent as the ‘alt-right.’ We are now in a post Charlottsville period, and it demands of us all uncompromising struggle against fascism. We believe our rapid response to Cville is an appropriate model to build off for the future, and through its summation we are better prepared for street demonstrations and other clandestine work. Maoism in the US must define itself now, at this historical period, birthed in the struggle against fascism. This is a struggle in our streets, in our workplaces, in our neighborhoods. We understand that to combat fascism in all its forms we must establish Serve the People Programs, anti-gentrification programs, and armed paritsan units distinct from our collectives. We are the initiators, and these are the first steps.
We extend our revolutionary greetings to all anti-fascist fighters across the world fighting against a renewed global fascist offensive, especially those in India, Turkey, the Philippines, and Kurdistan. We salute our comrades within the United States: Red Guards Austin, Red Guards Los Angeles, Kansas City Revolutionary Collective, Revolutionary Association of Houston, Three River Reds, and Queen City Maoist Collective. Our solidarity is powerful. The people in the occupied US have risen up in outrage against fascism, it is our duty to fight and win with them. We urge all Maoists to become active anti-fascists and build Maoist guided antifa mass organizations – this is an absolute necessity at this stage of struggle. We will turn the entire south into an anti-fascist zone -seize the times!

Charlotteville - From KC to Charlottesville! We Must Resist!

At some point in your life, someone had to explain to you what a Nazi was. Many of us have seen movies and shows depicting a small sliver of what occurred in Nazi Germany. It became a theme to compare everything evil to Hitler. Who hasn’t thought about what they would have done if only they’d been there? The question isn’t hard. When you’ve heard about Nazis and what they did, you know the right course of action. You just never thought, in your whole life, you might be asked to do it. It’s hard to think anyone would ever want to see a country where that might have to be answered. There’s no secret about it at this point, the Nazis are here.

Heather Heyer
Heather Hayer a martyr for the Anti-Fascist Movement
Last week, in Charlottesville, Virginia, Heather Hayer, a participant in an Anti-Fascist rally in response to “Unite the Right”, was run over and slain by a Nazi, who also managed to injure 19 others. Deandre Harris, a Black man, was savagely beaten by nearly a dozen fascists in a parking garage that was all caught on video. These people wear no masks, because they have sympathizers in cars, running into crowds. They have no fears of expressing their far right views because these views are normalized and ingrained in the history of the United States. We are generations of people who have thought about how we would stand up to these monsters if we ever got a chance and here they are. We have more unity in us than they could even imagine but we need more, we need to organize more people.

Deandre
Deandre Harris was savagely beaten by white supremacists emboldened by the withdrawal of police.

An entire week of Nazis rallying went unchecked by the police, until antifa got involved. In fact the police had pulled back their forces, allowing the fascists full license to commit violence against a crowd that included the elderly and clergy. Many of those there remarked that the anti-fascists who were there to meet the white supremacists with blows for blows had actually “saved their lives”. While we usually think we can do nothing the truth is we have the power to change this, and we have to use it, because nobody else is going to. This isn’t one City or one stand-alone incident. Time and time again we have proven that when the masses of people unite together they can accomplish anything. They can make the impossible possible!
PRotest003
Not long ago, this June, many of the same group of people that were in Charlottesville, Virginia, were in Kansas City, Missouri. We in Serve the People, witnessed people affiliated with fascist organizations such as the Proud Boys, an organization that was present in Charlottesville, and an organization whose sole purpose is to incite violence and fight leftists. We also saw them come out with militia groups from all across the state, a degenerate movement that also was represented in Charlottesville from III%ers to Oathkeepers. But this sort of mess is not solely limited to just Virginia or Missouri. This is happening all over the country. Fascists and Nazis are gaining audacity and they’re flaunting the license they’ve been given . They have taken the next bold step in a “Unite the Right” rally and are mobilizing in many more cities.
As an organization that is looking to take up struggles of The People we cannot operate under such an existential threat. We also realize we cannot advance current victories that have been achieved under conditions where a right wing backlash is gaining ground in the country and will not stand by while it seeks to make a basehead in Kansas City. This is why we are mobilizing our organization to gather on September 9th at Washington Square Park where they are seeking to use the events that happened on 9/11/2001 to gain a platform for their anti-immigrant, anti-Black, anti-Muslim, anti-Queer and anti-People views. We call on all progressive people to come out with us on this day and shut these reactionaries down.
FIGHT BACK FOR CHARLOTTESVILLE!

THEY WILL NOT PASS!

Maoists increasing presence in A.P.’s Araku region

Chief Minister is believed to have cancelled visit to his adopted village due to fresh inroads by maoists
Although Maoists have a considerable presence in the Agency areas of Visakhaptnam, especially interior pockets and regions such as G.K. Veedhi, Pedabayalu, Chintapalli, Munchingput and G. Madugula, the Araku region has been considered a safe zone by the police.
But the police no longer consider the well known tourist attraction a safe zone. There are a number of indications suggesting that Maoists are trying to make inroads into the Araku region, including the recent cancellation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to his adopted village of Peda Labudu, located about 10 km from Araku town.
Sources suggest that Mr. Naidu’s visit was cancelled due to the imminent threat from Maoists. The Chief Minister is on their hit-list. He survived a mine attack at Alipiri in October 2003.
The road to Peda Labudu is narrow, and has many sharp curves with a number of culverts. The bomb detection squad of the police can detect mines or improvised explosive devices 4 to 5 metres below the ground. But it is difficult to detect an IED placed deep in the valley. A well-packed strong IED beyond the detection level can prove fatal. This was the reason that prompted the cancellation of the Chief Minister’s programme at the last minute, said a senior district police officer.
Spate of attacks
The Araku mandal borders the Koraput division of Odisha. The Maoists have been active on the Koraput side. In February, they detonated a mine killing seven policemen of the Odisha Armed Police. Recently, they killed the gram panchayat president of Hatibari block in Koraput, barely 3 km from the Araku border, said Visakhapatnam (Rural) SP Rahul Dev Sharma. This apart, the police discovered a number of black flags and banners during the Maoist Martyrs’ week celebrations.
The blast on an APSRTC bus on August 2 near Dumku village in Anantagiri mandalappears to have consolidated the fears of the police. “Luckily no one was injured in the blast, but it was certain that potassium nitrate, a key ingredient for making IEDs and detonators, and wires were part of the unmarked consignment, which probably ignited due to some reason. It gives us the hunch that Maoists movement has increased in the Araku region,” said Mr. Sharma.
There are two view points to the fresh surge by Maoists in the region: they may be trying to regain some lost ground, as the pressure is hotting up on the other side, or it could be a diversion strategy.
